Ojo Local Government Medical Outreach, 2018
The Sarah Adebisi Sosan Foundation embarked upon her 6th Medical Outreach in Ojo Local Government and its environments. This was carried out at Ojo town Hall close to Local Government Council on Thursday 17th May, 2018.
One of the commitments of the Foundation is to promote healthy living and assist in the reduction of prevalent diseases through provision of free medical services for its focal areas.
The medical exercise includes Eye Screening and treatment for those having eyes problem, HIV test, Sugar Level test, Malaria parasite test, and Blood pressure check-up.
Eye glasses were given out for free, drugs like Anti-bacterial, anti-fungi, anti-malaria, blood supplement and blood cleanser, food supplement, body pain reliever, sight supplement, eye drops like eyevite, Chloramphenicol, Ivyflur, Timolol were also given out for free.
There was a large turnout at the program for screening and consultation, over 600 community dwellers benefitted.
A health talk was delivered by a professional health worker before the screening on different topics such as high blood pressure, diabetes, malaria etc.
