As part of our commitment in rural development, Sarah Adebisi Sosan Foundation organized a 2 day training for the youth in Irewe village and its environment. The training had participants from Taffi, Itogbesa, Okolondu, Igamo, Erekun, Alaguntan, Ojorin, Ibode et al, all are riverside communities.

The 2 days training centred on skills acquisition. Production of air freshener, liquid soap and hand wash as well as creation of bag & shoe accessories, bag and shoe making, production of insect repellant and Izal.

The goal of the training is to give the youth other sources of income aside their current vocations which is fishing and mat making.

The programme objectives are:

1. Equip vulnerable youth with marketable skills
2. Support activities aimed at improving employment opportunities for the youth
